Barrett Jackson Lifestyle Pavilion 2012: Social Media Winner

Barrett Jackson Lifestyle Pavilion 2012: Social Media Winner

Getting your company involved in a “Big Name Event” like Barrett Jackson Auction or other events is a great achievement. Being able to promote your company’s involvement and gain traction via social media is a whole different story. A lot of companies do amazing things for the community in charitable spirit yes forget to capture these moments via video or pictures. Moments like these are invaluable to your business and allows for contest winners, charity beneficiaries and fans or clients of your company to let everyone know how appreciative they are for your services.

Aquarian Media Group and Rock Me Events presented the Barrett-Jackson Lifestyle Pavilion 2012. We held a social media contest to increase awareness for the event itself as well as build the social media presence. Having potential winners share your event via their personal social profiles helps direct traffic to your event site and increase viral capabilities.

Once you’ve been able to get your company involved in an event and have facilitated public promotion or promoted via the web, media channels, etc… then what?

This video was taken with a simple Flip Cam (costs less than $200) with a moments notice. The social media contest winner, Heather Dopson, and Miss Teen Arizona were asked a mere minute before this video was filmed to give their candid opinion of the event, modeling and winning the tickets. Obviously you can see their appreciation towards Aquarian Media Group and Rock Me Events for giving them the opportunity to be there.

Customers, Clients, Long Time Fans and Partners all have an opinion of you and your company. If they’ve continued to work with you, the opinion is most likely positive! Why not ask them for a video testimonial? Give them the chance to be on camera and brag about the special treatment they’ve received from your company and/or staff. Nine times out of ten it’s a welcomed invitation. Ya never know until you ask!
